We stayed in a quiet area with easy rail links to London. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast with plenty of options. The staff were friendly and helpful.
One downside was the difficulty in locating the hotel due to it being down a back alley in a bleak part of town.

Great staff and helpful employees.
The cleanliness of the room was disappointing, with dirty carpets and rusty pipes in the toilet.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a strange part of town, down a dark alley near the centre. Despite its unusual location, the staff at this hotel go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The basic amenities are there, with rooms that have proper bathrooms and even a walk-in shower suitable for less able-bodied individuals. The attention to detail is commendable, with the staff providing a duvet for warmth and ensuring the windows can be opened for fresh air. The breakfast, although limited to three cooked items, offers vegetarian options including delicious Quorn sausages. The value for money and prices are very reasonable, making this hotel a great choice for budget-conscious travelers.
All was well with this hotel, no improvements needed.

The hotel is conveniently located near public transport, making it easy to explore the city. Guests appreciate the proximity to East Croydon station, trams, and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering excellent service. Guests also benefit from the luggage storage service, which is useful for those with late departures. The hotel provides easy access to both the airport and the center of London, allowing guests to easily explore nearby attractions.
One minor drawback is that the breakfast area can get busy, occasionally resulting in a shortage of cutlery, cups, and fruit.

I recently had a great stay at this hotel in a not-so-great part of town. Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money that this hotel offered. The prices were quite reasonable and I felt like I got a good deal. The attention to detail in the rooms was also impressive. Despite being a basic hotel, the rooms were well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location near the center of town was convenient for exploring and accessing transportation options.
There was really nothing that stood out as needing improvement. Everything was just fine.
